Day 1 USA to Shanghai

Depart from USA on an overnight flight to Shanghai.


Day 2 Shanghai

Once you arrive in Shanghai you will be escorted to your hotel so you can rest.


Day 3 Shanghai to Beijing

There will be a morning tour of Yu Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple, the Nanjing Road and The Bund.  In the afternoon, you will depart on a flight to Beijing.


Day 4 Beijing

Beijing is the capital of China.  Attractions you will see in Beijing include the Forbidden City, the Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace.  In the evening, you can enjoy the Emperor’s Banquet and a Chinese Acrobatics Show.


Day 5 Beijing

This will be the last full day you will spend in Beijing.  Today, you will have an opportunity to visit the Great Wall and the Ming Tomb Museum.  In the evening, you will be served at the famous Peking Duck Banquet.


Day 6 Beijing to Chongqing

In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven.  After lunch, you will board a flight to Chongqing.  Chongqing is known as the most important transportation hub of southwestern China.  After a delicious local Hot Pot cuisine dinner, you will board the Victoria Cruise and begin an exciting Yangtze River adventure.


Day 7 – 9 Yangtze River Cruise

While on board the Victoria, you will begin a journey on the Yangtze River.  After breakfast on the cruise, you will pass the spectacular Three Gorges:  Qutang, Wu, and Xiling.  Later in the cruise, you will have an opportunity to board a smaller river boat for an exciting excursion down the Daning River to the Three Lesser Gorges.


Day 10 Wuhan to Xian

Today, you will arrive at Wuhan around noon.  If time permits, you will visit the Yellow Crane Tower.  Then, you will fly to the city of Xian.  Once you arrive in Xian, an Imperial Dumpling Banquet Dinner will be served.


Day 11 Xian

In Xian, there will be a full day tour of the Terra-Cotta Warriors of Qinshihuang, the Hua Qin Hot Springs and the Banpo Village Museum.  In the evening, you will enjoy a local cuisine and be entertained by the Stage Show of Tang Dynasty.


Day 12 Xian to Guilin

In the morning, you will set out on an excursion of the Big Wild-Goose Pagoda, the Bell Tower, and the City Wall.  In the afternoon, you will board an airplane once again to depart for the city of Guilin.  There, you will visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill.


Day 13 Guilin

In Guilin, you will take a whole day cruise on the Li River and enjoy a minority folk dance show with Guangxi cuisines for dinner in the evening.


Day 14 Guilin to Guangzhou to Hong Kong

In the morning, you will board a flight for Guangzhou.  There will be a city tour with attractions such as the Chen Family Temple, the 72 Martyrs Mausoleum at Huanghuagang, and the Liurong Temple.  Delicious Guongdong cuisine will be served for lunch.  In the evening, you will take an express train to Hong Kong.


Day 15 Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, thee will be a half-day tour of the island of Hong Kong.  The afternoon is free time for you to explore the city on your own.


Day 16 Hong Kong to USA

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for an overnight flight from Hong Kong to USA.
