16 Day Tour of Jiuzhaigou and Zhangjiajie

Today, you will depart from the US on an overnight flight to Guangzhou.
Upon your arrival at Guangzhou, you will receive a brief city tour. You will visit sites such as the 72 Martyr’s Mausoleum at Huanghuangang, the Sung Yat Sent’s Memorial Hall and the Chen Family Temple. For dinner, a roasted pig banquet will be served.
Today, you will fly to Chengdu, the capital of the Sichuan Province. Upon arrival, you will visit the Du Jiang Dam. In the evening for dinner, you can enjoy a local hot pot cuisine.
In the morning, you will take a motor coach to Jiuzhaigou, also known as the “Fairyland.” Jiuzhaigou has been known for its natural wonders in terms of colorful waters appearing to be either magically peacock blue or emerald. All those who encounter it are overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of both its landscape and its lakes, springs, waterfalls, streams, rivers and shoals.
There will be an excursion today to explore Jiuzhaigou.
Today, the tour will travel back to Chengdu. A city tour will show you the River View Pavilion.
Today’s highlights include the Wen-Shu Monastery and the Qingyanggong. These are two of the most preserved memorial temples for the Lao-Zi. For dinner, enjoy the famous Medicinal Food.
After breakfast in the morning, you will visit Mt. Emei, located in Emeishan. Mt. Emei is one of the most famous Buddhist Mountains in China.
Today, you will visit the Golden Summit at Mt. Emei and the Min River. You will proceed to Leshan Grand Buddha in the afternoon.
After visiting Emeishan, you will take a motor coach back to Chengdu where you will have an opportunity to visit the Temple of Marquis Wu, the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu and the Tomb of Liu Pei. In the evening, enjoy a special Sichuan cuisine for dinner.
In the morning, you will board a flight to Zhangjiajie. Zhangjiajie is acclaimed for its fantastic formations of peaks, crystal clear waters, spectacular carved caves and the high percentage of forest cover.
Today, you will visit the famous Golden Whip Stream, which drives its name from the fact that it passes by the Golden Whip Crag.
Changsha is the capital of the Hunan Province. According to historical records, it is 3,000 years old. The city tour will include a visit to the Yuelu Academy of Classical Learning and the Mawangdui Tombs. In the evening, enjoy a local cuisine for dinner.
After breakfast in the morning, you will board a flight bound for Guangzhou. Upon arrival, there will be a brief tour of the city, visiting the Liurong Temple. For lunch, enjoy a nice Cantonese cuisine. In the evening, you will board an express train bound for Hong Kong.
This morning, you will receive a half-day tour of the city. You will have the opportunity to take a ride up to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of the Hong Kong Island and the Harbor. The rest of the afternoon is free for your leisure.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for an overnight flight from Hong Kong back to the US.
