Day 1 USA to Beijing

You will board an overnight flight from USA to Beijing.

 

Day 2 Beijing

Your flight will arrive in Beijing in the evening. A tour guide will meet with you and help you transfer to your hotel for a good nights sleep.

 

Day 3 Beijing

After breakfast in the morning, you will visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. You will proceed to the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City. In the evening, you will enjoy the world famous Peking Duck Dinner Banquet.

 

Day 4 Beijing

Today, you will visit one of the worlds great man-made wonders, the Great Wall of China. Spanning thousands of miles across Northern China, the Great Wall is even visible from the moon. You will then visit the Ming Tomb Museum and the solemn Temple of Heaven in the afternoon.

 

Day 5 Beijing

Today will be a full day of leisure time for you to rest and explore the city on your own.

 

Day 6 Beijing to Wuhan to Yangtze River Cruise

After breakfast, you will board a flight that will transfer you to Wuhan. Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei Province, is also an important industrial and commercial center of central China. You will receive a brief tour of the city. Attractions you will see include the East Lake and Yellow Crane Tower. In the evening, you will be transported to the docks to board the Victoria Cruise Ship. The ship will depart in the evening.

 

Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise

The ship will make its first stop at Yueyang. The shore excursion of Yueyang will introduce you to its famous tortoise-snake wine, paper folding fans, artistic porcelain wares and silver needle tea.

 

Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise

In the morning, you will visit the famous Three Gorges Dam. Built to control the devastating floods that ravage the river basin each year, the Dam will be completed in 2009. In the afternoon, you will board the ship again and sail through the Xiling Gorge and the Wu Gorge to arrive at Wushan in the evening.

 

Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise

At Wushan, you will leave the ship and board the small motorized sampans to sail up the Daning River. Only the sampans are allowed to enter the Three Lesser Gorges. In the afternoon, you will board the ship again and pass through the Quatang Gorge.

 

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise

Our shore excursion today will take you to Fengdu, The City of Ghosts. A short cable car ride up the mountain takes us to this city fabled by many locals to be the gateway to Hell.

 

Day 11 Yangtze River Cruise

The Yangtze River Cruise ends when you reach Chongqing in the morning. You will receive a brief tour of the city. After lunch, you will head to the airport and board a short flight bound for Xian.

 

Day 12 Xian

The highlight of todays tour will be the visit to Qin Shi Huangs amazing Terra Cotta Warriors. You will descend to the ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, after an exciting Imperial Dumpling Banquet, you can enjoy a Stage Opera of the Tang Dynasty.

 

Day 13 Xian to Shanghai

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, the tour guide will show you Chinas largest city, Shanghai. In Shanghai, you will visit the Yu Garden, the Nanjing Road, and the famous Bund. In the evening, enjoy a Chinese Acrobatics Show.

 

Day 14 Shanghai

Today will be a full day of leisure time. You can use this time to do last minute souvenir shopping or continue to visit the city on your own. If you want, you amy take anoptioal tour to the Garden City of Suzhou.

 

Day 15 Shanghai to USA

You will board an overnight flight from Shanghai to USA.
